So, now let’s get started!
(Recipe is for 6 servings)
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon parsley (dried)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt , pepper (to taste)
- 6 chicken thighs(boneless)
- 1 tablespoon garlic(minced)
- 6 large onions (thinly sliced)
- toasted and sliced bread (to serve)
- 1 cup (235 ml) beef stock
- 2 cups (200 g) gruyère cheese,(shredded)
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
Making:
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic, parsley and olive oil with chicken thighs and toss this mixture until it gets smooth for even coating.
- Soar chicken in the skillet on medium heat until it gets golden brown. It will take around 4 minutes. Do the same for the other side for 2 minutes. Remove the chicken and place it in a different plate or bowl.
- Now, preheat the oven to broil.
- Pour butter, sliced onions, salt, and pepper in the same pan, stir it to make a soft and smoothie mixture. Now reduce oven’s temperature for the purpose of cooking until it get caramelized. This can take around an hour.
- Add Thyme and beef broth and bring the mixture to a simmer
- Place the chicken over the onions and shower Gruyere cheese.
- Heat it for around 5 minutes and make sure the cheese has been melted and become golden brown
- Serve the cooked chicken with bread and have the best taste.
