So let's get started with this recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 12-ounces pasta sauce
- 6 chicken breast halves (boneless)
- 6 slice Monterey jack cheese
- 7-ounces bread crumbs (seasoned)
Making:
- Preheat the oven to 375 F for better cooking experience and great taste.
- Mix the Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs in a bowl. Coat the chicken pieces with egg (by dipping) and roll it over with the mixture made. Make sure, there is a layer of cheese and crumbs over pieces.
- Heat oil in a medium sized skillet. Pour those pieces and sauce in that skillet for around 8-10 minutes each side. Make sure of cooking it unless chicken becomes golden and the juices run clear.
- Add tomato sauce into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Then add chicken having Monterey jack cheese over each piece in a preheated oven for around 20 minutes. Make sure that the cheese has been completely melted after the cooking process.
Tip:
- Use of aluminum foil can enhance the taste as well as provide ease in cleaning.
