Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lb. ground chicken
- ½ c. Italian breadcrumbs
- 4 cloves garlic. Minced and divided
- ¼ c. parsley (chopped)
- 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Kosher salt
- Black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil (extra virgin)
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon flour (all purpose)
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. parmesan and shavings for burger’s topping
- 2 tablespoon cream cheese.
- 4 buns
- ½ c. baby spinach
- ¼ c, dried tomatoes
- (For burger patties)
- Combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, half garlic, parsley, and Italian seasoning with salt and pepper. Make 4 patties out of this mixture.
- Heat oil over medium heat in a skillet, and then add patties made earlier, cook them until they look like golden from both side, each side will take around 4-5 minutes. Shift the patties onto a separate plate.
- (For Sauce)
- Melt the butter by putting it in the skillet. Add the remaining half of the garlic and cook until fragrant. This will be done in around 60-70 secs. Add flour and whisk until combined. After it is combined add milk and bring this into a simmer. Parmesan and cream cheese is mixed and held until it gets melt. Season it with salt and pepper.
- Return the burgers to skillet and simmer them in sauce made earlier. Spoon it over the patties to completely cover them with the coat.
- The freshly made patties are ready to be placed on the buns. After this, Buns are ready to be topped up with baby spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and parmesan. This sums up the delicious and mouthwatering recipe of the chicken Alfredo burger.
